审计课程
To request permission to audit a class, please note the following:

• Requests to audit a class cannot be processed prior to the start of the semester. Submissions begin on the first day of classes.
• Audited courses are not graded.
• 学费 is assessed as appropriate for each course.
• Instructor approval is required. Please have the instructor send their approval to (电子邮件保护).

本科: To register for competency credit, please consult with the academic department for which the competency exam is held under. The decision to grant permission is the discretion of the department. Competency exams must be taken within the first six weeks of the semester. For additional rules governing competency credit, consult the appropriate 目录.

研究生: Competency examinations are offered by some departments and with the approval of 研究生院. They can be used to update 韦德体育app官网 credit that is beyond the six-year time limit. Students should consult their advisers for specific information and must register and pay charges during the normal registration period. The examination must be taken not more than six weeks after the close of registration.

课程
Students typically need 12 credit hours as an undergraduate student to be considered full time. (研究生 students are considered full time at eight credit hours.) If you have specific concerns related to insurance, 金融援助 or 住房, you should consult with the appropriate office for details. Policies and individual situations can vary. Beyond official status as a full-time student, undergraduate students normally take anywhere between 12 and 16 credit hours each semester. A 16-credit course load will help keep you on track for graduation in four to five years. If you are thinking about taking more or less than that, consider talking to your 学术顾问.

研究生 students registering for more than 12 credits for a fall, winter or summer semester must have written authorization from their adviser to do so.

重复的课程
Students may repeat courses for grade improvement purposes. A maximum of three attempts is allowed. Unless the course is designated as repeatable for credit, the grade earned in a subsequent enrollment will replace the earlier grade regardless of whether the new grade is higher or lower than the previous grade. Only the last grade assigned in a course will be calculated in the grade-point average. Students planning to repeat a course should check with their 学术顾问.
